  6.    !SciTrans is a RISC OS 'desktop friendly' application which allows one
  7. to transform the 'X' and 'Y' data fields in a SciGraph/SciModel data file.
  8. Often one wants to perform simple operations on a set of data, eg first take
  9. the LOG of the X values before plotting or curve fitting the data.
  10.  
  11.    This application lets one do this and much more!  One can specify the
  12. equations to be used in the writable icons in the main window and then drag
  13. a SciGraph/SciModel data file onto this window (or the iconbar icon).  Once
  14. the data have been transformed, a standard 'save file' dialog box will
  15. appear and the resulting file can be saved in the normal manner.

  17.    To get more help when using this program, use the interactive help
  18. application, "!Help".

  20.    The built in transformations available from the main menu include ones
  21. which most Chemists would use for routine work.  [Yes, I am a Chemist!]

  33. applications have been tested for at least a year now and they should be
  34. 99.9% bug free.
